Vinod was born in 1954 and graduated from Delhi College of Art, Delhi University. He was awarded by the All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, New Delhi in 1982. Vinod Sharma’s rockscapes make a massive infact. He has developed the freehand of accentuate the deep folds of the mountains.

Vinod’s Landscapes are like a verbal sonata playing their lyrical passages to the rythms of modernist moorings. There is love for Nature, not technique alone in his landscapes and rockscapes. Earlier it was the vast stretches of sand, then came the flow of the sleepless ocean, then the countless folds of the Himalayas. Painstakingly textured by the tiny rapid lines etched into the pigment, they reveal new facets of the unchanged mass of rocks.
