Babu Xavier was born in Kerala in 1960. He is a self taught artist. He has held 15 solo exhibitions including two in Basel and Copenhagen. He has participated in the International Triennale of Art, New Delhi in 1986, the Biennale at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal in 1988 and 1994 and the Centenary Exhibition of the Bombay Arts Society in 1989.Babu Xavier lives and works in Trivandrum.
